9.  MOYO REDEEMER ORPHANAGE

What It Is:  An orphanage six miles from the Sudan border; nearly self-sustaining, with institutional ovens, a poultry house, pigs, ducks, and a productive farm to feed the children.

Who It Serves: 125 orphans now, it originated with a handful who were students at the Redeemer School. Lord Kony rebels abducted 17 of them, while terrorizing the area, so they were moved across the Nile, which rebels couldn't navigate, to Moyo for safety.

What is Needed:  Small visitors house, half completed, to accommodate parents who originally couldn’t afford their child; and extended family.
