NORTHERN UGANDA

Namalu, st. mary's girls school

What is it: Girls Primary school (few boys) in very under-developed Karamoja, Uganda.
Who it serves: Girls who might be child brides, young as eight, becoming 4th/5th wives to older men for a few cows dowry; and shepherd boys forced to live in kraals, guard cows. What’s still needed: Boys/girls showers-toilets; renovate class-staff rooms. Our Founder was involved over 10 years arranging funds for much of its progress, the last being a school kitchen, poultry house and renovation of old hall for dining.
